Samara is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association. She has been practicing speech-language pathology for over 20 years in various school, clinical, hospital, and private settings. She received her Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Adelphi University and B.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is trained in PROMPT and Orton-Gillingham reading methodology. She specializes in treating and evaluating children who present with articulation/phonological disorders, Apraxia, orofacial myofunctional deficits, receptive/expressive language disorders, auditory processing disorders, language based learning disabilities, and difficulty with executive functioning, writing, and reading.
Samara loves using her knowledge and experience with learning differences to teach students learning strategies to help them reach their maximum potential. Samara works with children ages 18 months through 12th grade.
